AUDI 100S Tranny problems

Subject:       AUDI 100S

I'm in search of any information concerning my 1992 Audi 100S - a car
that we dearly love.  However,  I'm having problems with the
transmisson. I understand that I have an early 1992 transmission
serial number starts with AZB which was changed at mid-year to CDT. 
Also, with this limited production transmission, I just lost the
transmission cooling system.  That also, was changed on mid-year 92's.
I believe that a problem exist with the early production of the
transmission and cooling sytem.

If you can be of any help or direct me to other people who might be
experiencing the same problems, I would greatly appreciate it.
