Last year the drain tubes (3 out of 4) from my sunroof  became
disconnected and I had water everywhere.  The one tube that was still
connected was the front passenger side, so I had no water in the glove
box but on the dirvers side I had water seepage at glove box level.  An
easy way to check the drain tubes is to pour water into a funnel right
over the drain hole and see if it comes out the hole down by the door
hinge.

If that is not the problem you might want to check the seal on the
windshield.
