Another possibility would be the fuel pressure accumulator.  As I understand
it, this is a can with a spring and rubber diaphram that hold residual fuel
pressure in the system after shut down (maybe 50 pounds).  A pressurized
liquid boils at higher temperatures under pressure, thus minimizing vapor
lock on a hot engine.  If the diaphram leaks, it will hold less pressure, and
allow fuel vaporization when hot.

I also assume you have checked the injector o-rings for air leaks.
