They do, as far as I know, on the normally aspirated models. On the
turbo models it is a different story. I think keeping the stock head
and compression of the normally aspirated models and slapping a turbo
unit on is asking for trouble, all that pressure could increase the
height of the hood cover! :) I looked at those thick manuals that
most of the mechanics have. They list all the cars up to a certain
year, each one has timing listins, history, number sold, type of
engine, compression ratios, etc, etc. I looked at the S4, it is
running 9.2:1 while the 500 Turbo (200T in the States) is a mere
7.2:1.
