i'd a bit worried about the "playing with the boost" side of things, but the
engine with that mileage (at stock boost) would just be nicely run in.  usual
checks should confirm it.  mine has done 92,000km and is as good as new.

at 1/4 of new price it also seems like a bargain.  putting in an offer is a
good thing to do, but don't get gazzumped.

go for it, the world needs more enthusiastic ur-q drivers (and 20v ones at
that).  unfortunately down under doctors and lawyers bought the cars (given the
expense), but the ownership profile is changing for the better as the value and
desirability changes.
