Seeking Idle Control Unit for 1986 5kcstq

Hey, Listers! I hope you can help me with this problem.

I did search the archives, but could not find the precise
answer.

Engine idles high, oscillating between 1300 and 1400 rpm. If I
disconnect the idle stabilizer valve, and then plug it back in,
it settles down. (I saw this discussed many times in the archives).

Until now... the weather has gotten cold, and now, it does not
seek up and down, it just idles too slow to run until it's warmed
up.

Although I haven't run through the test procedure in the Bentley
manual yet, I'm fairly sure it's the ICU and not the valve. I
took the valve out and cleaned it, and hooked it up to a small
12v battery to test it. No voltage, only a tiny bit of air passes
through; 12v applied, air passes easily.

Is the ICU a gutless wonder? Has anyone tried repairing them?
Does anyone know where I might find a used oneAnd if I can't
find a used one, how much should I pay for an aftermarket new
unit?

Thanks in advance!
