Better still, you record *and* playback your tapes on the same deck -- a
vintage Nak 350 -- to avoid the above problems ... does anyone remember the
legendary ADS/Nakamichi portable setups from the late '70s?  It included two
bi-amped (60w woofer/20w tweeter) ADS 200i speakers and a Nak 350 deck that
would both record and playback tapes ... for its time, a very nice sounding
setup and when you got wherever you were going, you could take it inside
with you and continue listening!  I'm pretty sure I've still got mine in a
closet somewhere...  :^)
