That's the one. And it confirms your numbers pretty well too. Some
correction of that might be argued vs Corky Bell's own test methods for ICE
(see page 209-210) he uses WOT at 4000rpm max boost, allowing only Time for
Measurement to stabilize the thermocouple reading. Averaging x runs, he
calculates ICE. Your (and acually SAE 860103 too) are prolly a more accurate
reading as to MIN ICE, which includes some heat soak, not quite the same as
Bell's more realistic Average ICE (which is most likely higher than your SAE
method). Both tests computed are probably a good measure of IC performance
in a given application.

So, maybe we need to find out what the "Spearco FAA Standard Day computing"
includes that we are all missing here. Maybe someone can come forth with
that information here, since "the TESTING was DONE". I find it somewhat
incredulous that they are that low on their "computing". What does that say
of the computed ICE's they put forth in the catalog? Someone could argue
that if this is the error margin, then some of those big A2A IC's are really
OVER 100% efficient. I'd like to have THAT IC...

the 1989 Audi Tech literature to have a "New
turbo intercooler with improved air flow" is the single pass IC, though my
understanding is that some problems came about with the introduction because
of the major redesign of the front end for the US market. So, the single
pass IC didn't make it to the 44 chassis cars in the US until the intro of
the 91 200tq.

Same Conclusion after the smoke clears folks: A 2 bar MC tweek can do VERY
well with a single pass IC mod. Interesting claims as always...
