Re: Rear sway bar for Coupe GT

Anyone have a source for such an item? The only one I've been able to
locate is from Addco, a 3/4" bar that seems a bit wimpy to me. Gift
buying season is upon us, and I need to get one under my tree. Anyone
who has purchased the Addco is invited to write me with a review, as any
bar is better than none!
The last Addco rear sway bar I bought was in 1967 for a 1966 Corvair. I didn't
install it because they forgot to consider the heater duct. (Must never get
cold in Florida.) In any case, keep in mind that the stiffer the bar, the more
"connected" the two sides of the suspension become. In the limit, you have
traded your independent rear suspension for a live axel one. You have to judge
where you want your vehicle to be most outstanding, on a smooth race track or a
country road.
