Coupe GT Steering Linkage

Hey all I have a question about the linkage in the steering for the 85 
Coupe that i am trying to sell.  My question is how much it would cost to 
fix it.  I am trying to sell the car, and the guy who wants to buy it has 
an approximate cost of 400 dollars.  The symptoms are that there is a 
large looseness off center where i could just move the wheel about maybe 
10 degrees off center with no feel whatsoever and then there would be 
steering.  Anyway, that is what the problem is, and i am hoping that 
someone could tell me if it is the linkage or something else...
