Re: why can't Audi sell cabrios in CA, MA, CT & NY



Could it be that the reason is based solely on sales performance in this
particular market? The vehicle and it's basic hardware has certainly proven to
be stout enough to handle the rigors of the New England terrain and climate,
however, they don't seem to be selling here. There are a number of reasons to
explain slow sales, such as: lack of advertising, lack of real world interior
space (come on, it's a 2+2 on a good day), the climate here is not condusive to
convertibles, and the price puts it right up there with some really stiff
competition. But overall, I would have to say that the consumers just have not
been informed that the model exists. I, for one, have never seen an advert for
that model.
