A4 headlights - Differences

Jay,

FYI, I've been running 100w high beams, 85w low beams, and 85w fogs for 11
months in my A6 with no untoward impact on the wiring, etc.

If you are looking for gold/amber for your fogs, try PIAA's 85w Ion Crystal
bulbs. The ones you describe are awfully expensive at $50/pair, and you
never mentioned a brand name. I've run the proven PIAA's (about the same $)
in a pair of Hella 2000's for over 3 years. However, I switched back to
white recently as they simply provide more usable light in a wider spectrum
for real world driving. I also briefly put a set in the Quattro's fogs and
they looked *very* cool, but total output was not the equal of white 85w
bulbs.
