Hi "Q-man"
I'd say most of them have had this problem. Mine does this every few
months, usually when the weather turns colder. There's a TSB on it. There
are two little plastic posts with rubber ends on each side of the hatch. These
can be adjusted by using a 4mm allen key. Loosen the post by inserting the
allen key into the hole in the rubber stopper, pull it out a couple of clicks,
retighten, then check that the hatch still closes (if not, you pulled too far).
Check out
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Speedway/3229/doorroof.htm#hatch for
the official procedure and a picture. Apparently, there is an updated version
of the latching mechanism that solves this, but I can't verify that it works.
