Might be a bit late with this, but I remember reading an article in the
Audi VW magazine (one of the October specials) about a guy who had a
problem with his engine cutting at 4000rpm (I'll try dig it out this
weekend) It ended up being a dry solder joint on one of the sensors.
His local dealer ship could not fix it, and the car ended up going back to
Milton Keynes.
