Re: Bleeding ABS Brake Lines

Hi Quattro Listers -

This past weekend I replaced front brake disk pads on my 100 CSQW.
After 60 K miles the inside pad was very thin. The job went well.
However, I now have spongy brake pedal. It feels like air in the
system. I did not open the system at all. The piston did stick to
the inside pad and extended outward toward the end of its outward
stroke. Could air have infiltrated around seal and rubber boot when
re-compressed? Can I use a hand vacuum pump to bleed system at each
wheel? Saving up for the Bentley manual. Would appreciate any
advice.

Thanks
