Alex, you are about to have a wiring harness fire. The cooling fan
will soon seize and draw mega amps (someone estimated 120A). Since
there is no circuit protector other than the wiring itself, the left-side
engine harness will become melted and short circuited rubbish. Lots
of BTDT documented in the archives. Replace the fan motor
yesterday!
At some point, the 200s were equipped with a fusible link in a holder
near the coolant reservoir. This phenomenon was not ignored by Audi
(for very many years).
