RE: burl wood trim
I understand that by "Audi Turbo" you mean 5K/200 series car. I've never
seen an Audi 5K (the one with old style dashboard and those easy to
break door handles) with wood trim. In fact, I can't think of any place
where it could be located. The wood trim was introduced as an option
together with new dashboard and flat door handles. This change, however,
had place in the middle of 1988 and US cars received it in 1989 (in US
the name was changed from 5000 to 100/200 at this time). Does your
friend's car has two or three center ventilation crates?
