If you have an sporty Audi and will probably drive it hard the additional high
temperature protection can be provided by using a synthetic or sythetic blend
motor oil. Synthetics flow better at low temperature (for easier cold weather
starting) and can withstand much higher temperatures than conventional
mineral-based motor oils. I heard that it won't degrade unlike mineral, i'm not
sure if thats true. Sythetic would be recommended if you have a turbo.
