Do I remember that Phil mentioned something about starting a parts x-ref 
database? I think that it was back before the summer, June or July time may 
be.
Whenever I come across a direct replacement or an externally manufactured OE 
part I try to keep hold of the part number and source. For instance, Andrew 
Page part # 1232 is a Bosch factory exchange rebuilt starter motor for a MB 
engine, and # NS93 is a distributor (Bosch part # 0237522011 I think) for the 
same.
