Pilot bearing removal
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions on removing my pilot bushing from
the crank on my automatic engine. Just dropping in to say I removed it
today using a metal clutch alignment tool that fit the bushing hole. I
first filled the hole with grease and then I hammered the tool into it. The
bushing popped out with surprisingly little force on the hammer...that's
the power of hydraulics. Very clever idea!
