Should be just above 100 C.  You couldn't possibly be running properly
at 60 C - is your water hot?  You need to test the meter and wiring and
sender I think.

Yup.  I think it's weird to have a gauge that pegs at normal conditions,
but that's the way it is.

I've heard (here) that's due to a malfunctioning comparator thingie
(electronic) that interprets the low pressure sender info.  I've had
that problem on and off, hard to buy into it when the gauge reads 5 bar!

I forget who has them cheapest.  I paid about $40 each for a pair for my
coupe.  Installation is simple but takes a little figuring out.  There
is a tiny spring clip on each ball socket holding it in place.  Remove
the clip and the socket pops off.
