RE: 2.3 head fit a 2.2?

My understanding is the 2.3 and 2.2 heads are the same, that the
difference is the lower end. A 2.2 intake manifold will bolt up to a 2.3
head no problem, as will a 2.3 IM to a 2.2 head.

However, the fuel injector lines have a different shape to correspond
with their respective intake manifolds, and the fittings to the fuel
distributer are different.  So swapping a 2.3 IM into a 2.2 car would
require a change in fuel distributors and lines.

I have no info on the 2.3 exhaust manifold, but I have no doubt the 2.2
EM
will bolt up to the 2.3 head.
