I would think that there is something programmed into the Haltec EFI
system.

Ahh yes... I heard of that, some putz in one of those nuevo-quattros
(Diamond Star Talon/Eclipse) was it?

My advice for you: never ever again go to another rally... the rally bug
will sting you even deeper next time, and soon you will be spending
exorbitant amounts of money in order to become even _closer_ to the best
spectator sport in the world by getting a car and competeing in a rally!
...And you thought the quattro bug was bad, just as mark nelson what
being biten by both bugs is like!
