Doug,There is a company called "Busch" that sells wheel refinishing
materials.(stripper,polishing compound and I think a "kit").

Available at "Speed Shops" and thru catalogs like "KEYSTONE".

I have used their "Aluminum Wash" to clean up the raw aluminum castings
on  my TQC.Works great.

"Busch clear coat remover", removes dull,peeled and streaked poly-ester
or acrylic clear coat.Brush on ,hose off.Use on wheels,motorcycle cases,
etc.
