Sorry to here of your cars demise due to the effect of lifting off the throttle in the snow.  When I lived in Wisconsin we used to ice race on the weekends and knew very well what our cars were capable of in limited traction driving.  I think that they still run a school in Minnesota for Ice racing - well worth the time and money.  Now that I too live in the mountains  (and they say there is no fun to be had in the upper midwest), I'm glad that I have the ice background - I see a lot of cars in places I would'nt want to go, as well as dirty side up. 

Anyway if you are salvaging the car - I'd like to know where it ends up - as I need a few parts -
