Ur q oversteer revisited

Hey, it quattro weather in Denver! Whoopee! (my commute is a short but fun 5
minutes)

Anyway, this week the road conditions in my neighborhood are best described as
five inches of powder/packed powder with ice and slush mixed in for good
measure. That combined with the wheel-friendly 45% angle curbs here make for
great winter driving practice. What I have noticed is that it is relatively
easy to induce a very controlable amount of oversteer with the throttle after
turns are initiated. Kind of like a high output rear wheel drive car, but
more controllable. Note that this is with the center diff locked and half-
worn snow tires (generic). In my last 5tq, I was never able to get the rear
end to come around while the center was locked, just _alot_ of plow. Could
this be a power to weight difference?

Now a question. Has anyone mastered the quattro signature "spin around its
own axis" manuever? There's a nice big, icy and empty parking lot nearby to
practice in...
