Diagnostic Connector on 1990 20V

I have an early model Coupe Quattro, with the two 2-pin under-dash connectors
to perform downloading of computer trouble codes.  I have built the little
tester
as described in the Bentley's manual, but I stick the wire leads directly into
the
diagnoster connectors.  This is rather deleicate, and leads easily pull
out if I move the tester the wrong way.  Does anybody know if I can get the
complementing male connector end that plugs into the factory connector?  
Any idea of an appropriate part no. from an electronics supply house like l
ocal Radio S**t store?
