   Mark and others,

If you've got the coin holder option on the 5k Tq's, more than
likely you already have more room there than I did when I looked into this
area for auxiliary gauges. With the seat heaters, rear defrost, and ABS off
switches, it's tough to get anything else to fit there. I also have a front driving
light switch and red led alarm light there too. In the middle of all of these, I've
got a 2 5/8" LED boost gauge occupying this space. Yes, you will have to cut
a small amount of the metal backing from behind the nonfunctional plastic
plugs for the gauge to seat properly. I then used a circular saw to cut a circle
in the two plastic plugs to fit around the boost guage to give it a factory look
which I think I achieved nicely. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that if you don't
have seat heaters or an ABS off light(all q models have this) You'll have
gobs of space to fit at least two auxiliary gauges in this location. Maybe at
least an oil pressure and oil temp gauge. I'm still trying to find more alternate
places too. HTH,
