Hakkapeliitta - they were the highly-trained Finnish infantry during the
Thirty Years War (?).  They served in the Swedish Royal troops (Finland was
at the time a part of the Swedish empire), and wreked havock as far as
southern Germany and the Balkan countries. They did not however, make
friends with the Swedes (nothing new there), or especially the enemy. They
were unstoppable and fearless, hence the name being used for the Nokia (or
Nokian today) snow tires

If you visit Ingolstadt to pay homage to the Audi gods, you may find the
Hakkapelitta troops mentioned as you do the ruins & castles tour...
