All metal intercoolers

Hi:

Dropped by a local place here in the Wash D.C. area called the Prscha
PitStop looking for VDO guages (prices, dimensions, etc) and started
talking cars, duh!

Anyway talk turned to intercoolers and I mentioned the list and resources.
He read about the RIPP Audi, knew about Intended Acceleration, etc.
seemed like a real nice guy taking me through the shop, etc. but unfortunately
do only BMW, Mercedes and Porsche.

O.K. the question is, who has all metal intercoolers and at what $.
He was saying intercoolers are $700+-.  Seems way high to me.  What
say ye?
