I can't pull codes because my 5kcstq has a bogus fuel pump relay... 
or rather, one with a bogus fuse holder, and I haven't had the time
to engineer a fix for _that_, yet.

But this ECU was from a flood-damaged car; the ABS controller
I removed from it also did not work, even though I cleaned both
units (I am a former embedded systems programmer and embedded
systems designer, so I know how to clean PC boards).

Once I get a pinout for the CPU, I should be able to determine if the
processor is fetching or trying to fetch instructions from the ROM;  
Hopefully, just the ROM is blown.
