Not quite that experience.  But if you do this the right way (hint:  start
with that crystalized carbon) you might get the following real life
experience:

I return home from an out of town business trip.  It wasn't a particularly
great trip since i missed my original flight home; i was supposed to meet
my wife for our anniversary dinner.  things were not that bad, though--when
i got home, there was a small velvet box with just such a black plastic and
chrome key on the end of a key ring.  It was for an aircooled six-cylinder
german car she had hidden in the neighbor's driveway!
