Opinions on <old> Land Cruisers

Any of y'all have any opinion/thoughts on old Land
Cruisers? I'm thinking about buying a "beater" wagon
version. They are called FJ60's and were available
from 1980 to 1987. Or the FJ55's that were available
from '69 to '80.

I am driving my leased Avant too much; don't want to
get penalized for mileage overs.
