I'd like to echo and amplify everything Paul said.  I've read the archive
posts that came from the period when Peter Wales was posting and it's a
really good example of the List gone wrong, IMO...it started off with some
questions and some really interesting and forthcoming information and
degenerated sadly.  

The reason that the List is getting upwards of 160 posts a day is
because there is a lot of high-quality information here from people who
know what they are talking about and people who are willing to have
their misconceptions fixed through constructive debate.  If you can't
handle being corrected, or don't know how to correct someone else with
tact _and_ fact, please do some thinking about why.  

Ned is a fantastic person to have lurking about and posting to the list, for
too many reasons to mention.
