I had talked with Ned a week or so back and also briefly discussed his
recent foray into email and posting to the Quattro list.

I asked what kind of responses he had gotten to his first posts to the
Q-list, and was pleasantly surprised to hear that he had only gotten
five or six messages (I had expected him to get a mild deluge) and that
all of them were pretty polite and intellegent messages.

Ned is in a unique position to provide some great information and rather
amusing stories.  (Ask him about the Olympus rally and a certain quattro
that thought the shoulder was a traffic lane!)

While I definitley agree with the concept of "Your opinion is different
than mine and I'll defend your right to disagree with me," I think we
should all watch _how_ we are disagreeing with each other.

More than once I've seen people on this list wondering if AoA knows
about this list, or cares enough to have somebody subscribed to it.  I
have to say that if I was that AoA rep, I'm not sure I'd want to make my
presence known.  I'd hate to see what you guys would do if there was
actually a rep here!  <grin>
