Going backwards while flooring it in 2nd?
hey all, i just got back from my weekend in Tahoe, which marked my first
time ever taking my q up to the snow. Wow...there wasnt much on the
ground but my friend and i went to the Squaw Valley parking lot and found
some snow/ice to play on. Awesome is all that i can say. I was only
able to do maybe 15 mph, but it was a small area and wow...hehe..
I would lock the diff then start going in circles and get the rear to
kick out, then i would modulate the steering and the gas to get me going
in circles....sideways
I even got to a point where there was enough momentum to cause my car to
start going backwards while i was flooring it in 2nd at about 4000
RPM....needless to say it was fun as hell...andi never hit full steering
lock for fear of losing my steering pump again...BTDTNDIA
I was even able to get that axis spin at one point...awesome...i gotta do
it again in a few weeks..
later all,
