Excuse my ignorance but is the battery under the back seat?  My 5KTQ
had a loose battery and it took me a couple of months to "figure" it
out albeit by accident.  Had a clunk going over a bump, hard acceleration/deceleration,
etc.

Doing some other work necessitated I disconnect the ground.  When I
put everything back nice and tight, voila no clunk.  The battery hold
down clamp was loose!

Anyway, it's a thought!
