I wondered about this statement as well. Must be that SCCA outright BANS
AWD in all forms of racing with the exception of Pro Rally and Solo II 'cause
AWD is so very dangerous on dry pavement - no? And Porsche added AWD to
its top-of-the-line flagship to get back some of that ol-time evil rear-engine handling 
- yes?
