This contradicts what you said earlier when beating up on MichaelWilliams...comparing
tq's to a M3 WITH brake mods (with the stock brakes of anM3 being among the best
on a street car already)

Mike, I don't see any contradiction.  The M3 I was speaking of was being compared to very, very modified 5TQs (wheels, suspension, chips, lightened flywheels, brakes, stress bars, etc) and modified S4s and S6s (Chips, brakes, not sure about suspension).  I heard the M3 had some brake work - I just don't know what if any (could just be pad compound).  My point with Igor was that he has an outstanding car that should beat the snot out of a 325i.  I think a M3 would be a much closer match.

I have not heard or read any (and there have been a ton of reviews) reviews which discuss everyday driving as being difficult or onerous with the M3 (unlike the old boy-racer M3).  Christ, I'm starting to sound like a BMW ad!

This whole thread got started by me wishing the A6 was more sporting in nature.  Forgive me:-).
