VW Passat Heir Apparent to the Audi 5000/100

Hi All,
	Audi owners may call it blasphemy, but in reading the road test of the
Passat V6 Syncro (also in new issue of CAR), I have decided it is the heir
apparent to the audi 100. Why you ask?
	Look at the A6. Stylistically it is totally different and close only to
the TT Coupe. The Passat has the same pointed front nose as the earlier
100s, and is about the same in size as the second generation 100. It is
essentially an Audi A5 at a price cheaper than the A4. Sure the interior is
not as lush as an A4 or A6, but it's spot on to Audis of yore, probably
better. Just my 2 cents-G
