That seems a bit steep to me. I got a 98 A4Q 2.8 with sunroof and a
5-speed for $30k plus tax and tags. Tiptronic is another $1075, so I
think that's a bit high. In my area (NYC metro area) there are
many, many more Tiptronics than 5-speeds available, so when I found mine,
I didn't have nearly as much room to bargin as I had hoped.
I would expect that unless the demand is significantly higher on the Left
Coast, $30-31k is a reasonable starting point for negotiation.
