Don't Buy New Audis
Is Audi actually an image-brand? I bought mine in spite of the virtual
lack of name recognition in general. People regularly come up to me and
ask what it actually is. It seems to have all the prestige and
image-consciousness of a Peugot.
As for negitive sales pressure, I don't see buying -used- cars
accomplishing that. You'd still have to buy -some- new car to factor into
the statistics. Otherwise it just looks like a slow year. It would
probably have to be a BMW, to have the effect you want, or a Subaru Impreza
RS.
