Exhaust manifault studs

Fellows,

It's been 3.5 years since I acquired the 200 and, naturally, the very
first thing I did was the removal of both manifolds, turbo and assorted
junk in order to drill out a broken #1 stud for the exhaust manifold.
I replaced all gaskets, studs, nuts etc and torqued them to spec.

This summer I started hearing the unmistakable exhaust seepage from the
#1 port. I thought that the damn stud broke again, but George Baxter
suggested that I tightened the end nuts. I was skeptical at first, but
yesterday I had finally gotten around to doing it and to my surprise the
#1 and #2 nuts have backed themselves out by almost a turn. They have a
thread M8x1.25 pitch, so the gap between the port #1 of the manifold and
the head was about 1mm!

Tighten those nuts once a year, Gentlemen! Before the studs break. ;)
