A4 tires: will 225/50 16" fit A4?

Hey all,
I am looking to upgrade my wheel and tire combo on my A4 1.8 from 15" to 16",
and wanted to know if I will run into any problems using a 225/50 16" tires
that i have sitting around.  I hate to have to buy new tires when i've got
perfectly good ones.

So, if you know, please let me know if this combo will work, or rub my wheel
wells.
