I think that hole is perfectly filled by the 323 GTX which weighs in at
2640 lbs in full attire, but can easily be brought down to under 2K
pounds.  Add to the fact that you can upgrade to an HKS PFC F-CON fuel
injection computer, and run 15 lbs of boost (boost hits around 1700 RPM
and goes and goes WELL past redline (approx 6500)), and you'll blow away
any RX-7. =)
