Sounds like the old 'decel valve' microswitch to me...  Its the black box on
the side of yer throttle body - glued shut, has 2 bolts holding it on and a
wire connector on the side. If yer handy with a soldering iron and a knife -
3.00 to repair. If not - about 60.00 discounted...
