I also have a '92 100S, and mine has 68k on it. I bought it about a year and a
half ago. My car also uses about a quart of oil every 2000 miles, and I have
no clue to where it is going either. I've also heard this is a common problem.
I just changed my oil to Mobil 1 synthetic yesterday. I have never tried
synthetic oil before, so I will see if the consumption goes down any.
