Re: battery drain while parked - why?

Phil;

    I have been quite impressed with the life of the Audi batteries. The
original in my '86 5kcstq lasted 7 years ( it died at -40C in a parking lot)
and my '91 200q  (245 k km)is still on it's original. They get quite a
work-out in our -30C winter weather as well. The best life I've ever gotten
out of generic North American batteries (in North American vehicles, of
course) is 4 - 5 years under the same conditions.
