Hard start continues/worsens despite new injectors

Hi All:

Belated happy holidays and New Year!

Replaced my injectors with new/used viton tipped from Eric at VW PARTS.
My baby now starts even rougher/harder than with the old injectors!?
I have a new check valve which I hopefully will get to this weekend.

I have not yet reset CO but can't imagine the effect would be that
profound.  My money is on the check valve.

Thoughts beyond the above?
