Ur-quattro questions

  Hello listers!

I am new to this list, and have some questions about Ur-quattro. I don't
have a Ur-quattro yet, but I am pretty sure this is the car I want: A
fast, good looking modern classic, that is reliable enough to use as a
  daily driver. Am I right?

I have had a look at one already, and must say I'm impressed about the
handling, especially on slippery roads! The one drawback is the price,
here in Norway, a good car tend to cost $20.000 - 22.000! So I want to
know what I get before I buy.

I have found some interesting sites on the net, but no "buyer's guide" as
so. I was hoping for some information from the people who obviously know
these cars best - you people!

So, if you can advice me about what to look for and worry about, it
would probably make me a happy buyer and driver soon. And a active member
of the list as well! Here are some specific answers:

Rust - I suppose a car at this age (mid 80s) is starting to get rusty,
even though you can't see it. Is rust a problem for Audis, and specially
  for Urquattros?

Originality - how can I determine if the car is a original Ur-quattro and
  not a rebuilt coupè?

The car I looked at had a clunk from the rear when shifting (hard).
Should this worry me, or is it normal(universal joint maybe)?

This car had no leather interior, is that normal for a european car? It
also had a '85 engine in a '84 car. Engine interchangeability is no
  problem?

That's all for ow, I hope some of you can give me some advice! Thanks!
